Mufti Maaz Haroon

Mufti Maaz Haroon is a Pakistani author and Islamic scholar, winner of a national Qira'at competition, holding a Scholar and Mufti Sanad from Jamia Mazahir-uloom University (JMU).

Mufti Maaz Haroon completed Hifz at the age of 12 without first completing the Nazira reading level, then dedicated 8 years to the classical Dars-e-Nizami curriculum, followed by a specialisation in Islamic jurisprudence (Takhassus fil Fiqh). He is an adherent of the Naqshbandiyah-Sirajiyah Sufi order and author of ‘Khulasatul Qur’an Le-Ibneharoon’ (‘The Brief Summary of the Quran’). He currently teaches at Jamia Taleemul Qur’an in KPK, Pakistan.
